heres some...my clay is drying slower than expected and im gonna use model paints instead of acrylics to eliminate brush strokes on the guitar face itself
i found blue sand to mix in with the paint for my wave in the bottom corner of the front which i think will give good texture

watch out for those model paint fumes- they are really nasty! I'm so glad to see an update and I love the pictures of you working. Any reason for the balloon? Are you planning on taking it out at the end? You seem to be planning out everything, which is good- Make sure you don't use too many different colors together, as this may look confusing. Use maybe an analogous color scheme (blues and greens and purples) for most of it and then put in little pops of color in different places (your fish, seaweed, etc.)- you have so many different things to add, you don't want to over do it with the color. Looks awesome so far. I hear you are coming back to school on some day? Can't wait to see you!
oh...and I love my jewelry- I'm wearing my earrings right now!
